My goals and objectives are to produce a way for people to be comfortable when they sleep in very humid conditions.

Is a humidity absorbing pad that is very effective in absorbing the humidity given off by the body.

Changing Comfort, the mission for our product is to make people more comfortable.

1.4 Marketing and Sales Strategy

Target the bigger companies that can get this product out to the people that need it. If our product can make it into a sporting goods store and even some home improvement store They will be able to market my product better than I could ever do by myself.

This product has the chance to be very competitive because there is nothing out there that is the same as this and that is a big advantage because it means that I won't have to compete with bigger companies.

The problem is the humidity that the body gives off during sleep

My solutions is my product this will remove the humidity from the air.

My business philosophy is that everyone profits. I want the people that receive this product to think that it was worth it because it betters there experience and I also want myself to profit as well. If I stick to this principale than everyone will benefit in some way.

2.4 Product Description

Mu product is a small piece of fire resistant cloth that has silica beads woven into it. My product is designed to lower the humidity around the body while sleeping for more comfortable sleep. It is also reusable and very simple.  The combination of all of these actors make it into a great overall,effective solution to the problem with uncomfortable sleep in warm weather.

 

3.0 Mentorship

4.1 Summary

My mentor played a big role in what my final product came out to be. My mentor turned out to be my cousin who is a distinguished inventor and scientist for gore tex. His experience in the material field helped me a great deal when it came to coming up with good ideas that where both functional and economical.

 

5.1 SWOT Analysis

 

Smart:

I want to accomplish a way that people can camp much more comfortable than they have been with the average sleeping bag. This will benefit me because not only will i use it but i will also sell it to other people. This will impact all outdoorsman who want a better alternative for comfortable sleep when out in the woods. This product can be used anywhere and everywhere.

 

Measureable:

The concrete measures are how many can I make and how many can I sell.

 

Achievable:

The objective can be accomplished with the help of experts in the field. I think this goal is very achievable because people will want this.

I think this is very relevant because people will want this product

My target market will be anyone who is suffering with discomfort during the summer months. My product was designed to work well in a sleeping bag so it is ideal for campers and hikers but it also works just as well for sleep outside of a sleeping bag.

My plan is to not to rely on my website to get my product out there I hope to get into a large company that can do my marketing better than I ever could.

My plan of production is to hopefully get into a bigger company that can produce my product at a much higher scale than I ever could my myself.

I hope to have a very high quality in my product

9.1 Start Up Costs

For the initial product the cost to produce one unit of the product costs around $30.00 to purchase the materials needed for the unit. It took about 15 minutes to make after all of the equipment was set up. To get this product to market and produce hundreds of units it would be very expensive and very time consuming.
